Remarks
This Bertram 28 Express is a true classic. A pioneer of the beamy deep-V hull build which set standards in her day for engineering excellence efficient deck layout (with huge cockpit) and outstanding build quality. Less than 30 were ever built. Even today the Bertram 28 still delivers the best ride a 28 (or even a 35) can give. Excellent rough-water ride. "Kazba" has undergone a 6-month/$[removed phone] restoration in 2009/2010. Restoration was so well done even the head of Bertram came out to see her. All prep paint fiberglass and structural work done at Nightingale Marine who specialize in Bertram re-fits. Awlgripped custom teak-work structural re-inforcement new electronics new electrical new plumbing...the list is endless. "Kazba" maintains her original look and layout while completely restored using new state-of-the-art materials. Basically this boat shows as new as the first day she came out of the factory. A head-turner in any marina.
